New Pictures

Today we had Lucas' 6 month pictures taken at Portrait Innovations. They turned out great and it was really hard to decide which pictures to have printed. Lucky for us we got all of the pictures on CD. Here are just a few!

How BIG is Lucas

Today Lucas had a doctors appointment and he was 18lb 5oz and 26 1/4 inches. He has officially gained 10lb 4oz since birth and grown 6 1/4 inches in length. Our little baby is getting so big! The downside to the appointment was he got 3 shots. 2 in one leg and 1 in the other. He was not happy about it but got over it quickly when I picked him up and gave him a big kiss!

Happy 1/2 Birthday!

Wow, Time sure flies. Today Lucas turned 6 months old. A lot has changed in 6 short months. He now sit all by myself and he sure think he can crawl, but he does not get very far.He even eat solid foods, well rice cereal anyway. He lets mommy and daddy get a lot more sleep at night and is even getting on a schedule during the day! He goes to the doctor soon to get an official height and weight but from what we can tell he is about 18 pounds and about 26 inches long. We will let you know for sure after he goes to the doctor.

Food

As of today Lucas officially eats 'solid' food. Today he got baby rice cereal and will once a day for the next few weeks. He seems to like it a lot. He does get a good amount in his mouth then the rest just ends up all over his face and even his belly!?! He managed to stay pretty clean. Big messes I am sure will come with the introduction of veggies and fruits. But that is still a few weeks away.
